This is a report written on the assessment of the effects of the privatization and regulation of the water sector in Jordan. Jordan is known to be one of the most water scarce countries in the world, where water shortage has become of permanent nature and meeting water demands is a challenge. This Assessment aims to shed some light on the technical and economic feasibility of privatization and regulation as well as to address the potential benefits for the sector and more generally the overall impact for water scarcity in Jordan. The assessment was published in 2011.
