Final Gender Analysis and Action Plan:
This Gender Analysis and Action Plan provides a review of situation, addressing gender issues and women’s role in water sector management in the home, community, and the workplace (water sector).
Water Sector Gender Policy:
The document herein is the proposed policy, for official adoption by the MWI as an integral part of the National Water Strategy and related policies and action plans. The eventual goal is to integrate gender considerations within the strategy document and all other water policies.
Gender Study on the Women Status Working in the Water Sector:
This gender study is in line with the governmental plans to empower women in the public sector, with the purpose to assess the status of more than 1200 women working in six water entities and companies governing and operating the water supply and service in Jordan, led by the women studies unit at the MWI, and supported by USAID WMI.
