A Business Model Recommendation for a Destination Marketing Organization in Ajloun, Jordan 2014  

This report was published as part of USAID/Jordan Economic Growth through Sustainable Tourism in Jordan Project (JTD III) in 2014. The assignment set out to develop recommendations for a sustainable business model and path forward to create a Destination Management Organizations (DMO) in Ajloun according to international best practices and local needs. The report provides a general introduction and explanation of the role DMOs and analysis of the potential models with examples from the US, Europe, and South America. The report provides detailed recommendations for implementation and long-term operations as well as a business strategy and marketing strategy with detailed financial projections for the organization.
