A Guidance Note for SDG Implementation in Jordan: Water, Energy, and Climate Change

Jordan has one of the lowest levels of water resource availability in the world. An already difficult situation is being exacerbated by the impacts of climate change. Jordan is also one of the few energy resource poor countries in the Middle East. This is why it’s important for Jordan to implement the Sustainable Development Goals 6 (access to water and sanitation for all), 7 (access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all), and 13 (urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts). This publication provides guidance at the institutional level on how to tackle the challenges associated with inter-sectorial goals.
