Advanced Cardiac Life Support Training
The Life Support Programs Training Center celebrated achieving certification from the American Heart Association on offering the Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) provider course, a critical care training and certification program designed to immediately save the lives of people who suffer medical emergencies. With technical and in-kind assistance from USAID LHSS, the center now has seven AHA ACLS-certified instructors, who have trained 152 Ministry of Health professionals on advanced life-saving procedures. The target of the center is to provide high-quality training to all 25,000 medical staff working at MOH hospitals in Jordan. Advanced BLS and ACLS training is essential to decreasing mortality and morbidity cases in Jordan.
