This presentation builds on a report by USAID JCP in July 2018 titled: ‘Identifying Investment Opportunities and Developing Project Briefs’. The reports aim was: ‘To support the Government of Jordan in its efforts to better prioritize and pursue the development and delivery of strategic investment projects likely to deliver the largest long-term economic and social impact for Jordan.’
The report was an input into USAID and Word Bank PPP Program design and implementation and used by USAID at the London Initiative Conference in February 2019
The subject of this report i.e. ‘Cross Cutting Issues & Solutions Report’ deepens the context of the July 2018 submission and identifies the issues and solutions that been identified by Donors and Government of Jordan (GoJ) findings by utilizing available Donors and GoJ analysis (eight reports in total representing an estimated investment of JOD 3-5 million)
The results indicate a cohesion around shared issues and the solutions emphasize the need for a renewed commitment to implementation.
