Antimicrobial Resistance Communication and Awareness for School Students Activity: Implementation Report

The Communication and Awareness for School Students (CASS) program, stands as a pioneering effort in raising awareness about Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) among Jordanian youth. Working closely with the Jordanian Ministry of Health (MOH), the USAID Medicines, Technologies, and Pharmaceutical Services (MTaPS) Program conducted in-person sessions for 2,700 students and trained 30 health educators, empowering them to extend AMR awareness activities across all health affairs directorates in the country. This initiative is now an integral part of the 2024-2028 National Action Plan on AMR, showcasing its institutionalization and collaborative approach for sustained impact.
