Economic Participation, Agency and Access to Justice in Jordan 2013  

The Jordan Country Gender Assessment (CGA) aims to report on the developments in Jordan's economy and quality of life, while focusing on the lack of increases in economic participation and the lack of increases in women's participation in political and social life. The objectives of this report are: to assess gender imbalances in access to justice and in economic participation in the labor market, to provide a framework for policies and interventions to the government of Jordan on addressing imbalances, to provide a basis for implementing the activities included in the Gender Action Plan, to develop and strengthen partnerships with the government of Jordan agencies and academic institutions, to promote collaboration on addressing gender-related issues impacting development and to develop mechanisms for cooperation on implementation of the Gender Action Plan. The assessment was published by World Bank in 2013.
