Evaluating Women’s Empowerment through Information Communications Technologies is an internal assessment of the impact of USAID LENS investments in ICT trainings, solutions and platforms on women in the project’s network. It explores the following questions: 1) to what extent does ICT facilitated women’s economic participation in Jordan; 2) what are the factors that determine the impact of ICT on women’s economic participation in Jordan; and to what extent ICT matter’s for women’s economic empowerment and agency in Jordan. The assessment finds that engaging in ICT training programs and ICT-enabled work has numerous intangible benefits for women’s empowerment and changing perceptions of the value of women’s work in Jordanian society, but that overall, it is challenging to assess direct, quantifiable economic benefits of women’s ICT-enabled work.
