Final Performance Evaluation – USAID/JORDAN Learning Environment Technical Support (LETS) 2014

The LETS project was designed to promote a system for improving positive learning environments that addresses the nonphysical environmental and behavioral factors that impact student learning. This evaluation, conducted in 2014 by USAID, aimed to assess the performance of the four year Activity with regard to its implementation of learning environment activities and Result-Based Benchmarking (RBB). The evaluation involved local stakeholders such as communities and individual schools and Ministry of Education (MoE) in order to inform the development of future USAID programming. LETS was organized into two main components: Building capacities within LETS schools to support enabling environments and their communities; Building the MoE’s capacity to sustain and institutionalize improvements to the learning environment.
