Gender and Urban Planning (Infographic)  

Considering the needs of different people is necessary for designing inclusive, accessible, and safe public spaces. As men and women use and experience publiuc space differently, urban planning should use participatory processes to inform gender-sensitive designs. This inforgraphic developed by USAID Takamol provide recommendations for creating a gender-senstiive city that incorporates the needs of woemn, a perspective often under-represented in architecture and urban planning.
