This report presents the findings of a study commissioned by the USAID-funded Local Health System
Sustainability (LHSS) project in Jordan to better understand gender issues for frontline health workers
during the COVID-19 pandemic. The report is divided into six sections: Section 1 provides a summary
of gender equality issues for HCPs at the global scene, while Section 2 presents a contextual overview of
Jordan. Section 3 discusses the methodology and the study limitations. Section 4 presents the findings
from all the tools used, and Section 5 and 6 provide conclusions and recommendations.
