USAID-funded Economic Development Program SABEQ
issued a report on “Green Building Codes Assessment and Development of
Recommended Framework’’ and distributed it to all relevant stakeholders from both
the public and private sectors for review and feedback,a workshop was conducted with the participation of
representatives of the stakeholders. The purpose was to present and discuss the
findings of the report and the proposed recommendations. The intent of the
workshop was to reach a consensus on the most applicable approach for Jordan to
adopt in order to enhance the green movement through "building green". During the
workshop, two different approaches were presented to the participants highlighting
both the advantages and disadvantages of each approach
