Grey water market assessment
A market assessment to assess the feasibility of grey water within project target locations.
As part of technologies identification on the household level, WIT has proposed three types of technologies to consider for the pilot phase which includes rainwater harvesting, grey water reuse system and water saving devices.
Grey water is the water collected from bathroom faucets, showers, and laundry, and in some cases, faucets of the kitchen are also added. The collected grey water does not contain high concentration of organic matter making it an unconventional source of water which if treated can save 40–70% of freshwater.
