Health Public Expenditures Working Paper 2011
This sector analysis as part of the Jordan Fiscal Reform Project II, was prepared to address the perspective that the current and past public spending for health in Jordan is unsustainable. The analysis considers the programs and activities of the Ministry of Health and makes recommendations for the coming years that can provide greater efficiency and effectiveness in program administration and slow the growth in Ministry of Health system costs. The report, published in 2011, presents an overview of the Public Health Sector, the program and expenditure policies, as well as a discussion of the issues, findings and recommendations for the future.
