The purpose of this analysis (conducted by USAID/Jordan’s Monitoring and Evaluation Support Project, MESP) is, first, to provide USAID/Jordan with a deeper understanding of the 17 USAID Journey to Self-Reliance roadmap indicators in the Jordanian context and suggest complementary data, where appropriate and available, that can be used to better understand and interpret the data. In this latter instance, MESP is providing “deep-dive” analytics, with the intent to support data triangulation and more in-depth discussion of self-reliance issues, for six indicators that are of particular interest to the Mission:
• Open Government;
• Social Group Equality;
• Economic Gender Gap;
• Business Environment;
• Government Effectiveness; and
• Efficiency of Tax Administration.
