The PHR and PHRplus projects have been providing Technical Assistance to the MOH and the
Government of Jordan, since March 1998. The PHRplus project formally began with the
acceptance, in May 2001, of the Jordan Country Assistance Plan (CAP), by the USAID Jordan
Mission. Year 4 budgetary allocations for the PHRplus project amount to $1.5 million. This is
