Jordan Investment Board (JIB) approached SABEQ to obtain technical
assistance in reviewing the organizational and functional structure of the
Investment Promotion Directorate and recommending a best practice
organizational and operational structure for investment promotion. SABEQ
agreed to provide required assistance through Component 2: Expanded Trade &
Investment and Component 5: Cross Cutting Solutions - Institutional
Transformation Solution. The approach was to review the mandate of the
Investment Promotion directorate and related activities of other directorates,
conduct a thorough audit of the systems, procedures and HR already in place at
this directorate, and recommend best organizational set up based on
international best practices.
