This report published by Greenpeace in 2013, presents a vision for energy independence that relies solely on the progressive deployment of renewables and the phasing out of carbon energy generation in Jordan. The report examines Jordan’s current energy situation from a cost structure perspective, and compares the cost structure of conventional and nuclear energy to the fast declining costs of renewable energies, in the hopes of concluding that a vision for 100% Renewable Energy is both possible and realistic for Jordan.
