The preparation of the Judicial Authority Strategic Plan for the years 2012 - 2014 did not come from a vacuum. It
is the natural outcome of the social, economic and democratic development that the Kingdom is witnessing.
It also comes from the need to keep abreast with these developments and changes through a comprehensive
reform movement in Jordan. This reform has provided an environment conducive for enhancing the stature
of the judiciary, its independence, and unity such that it always remains capable of fulfilling its enlightened
mission and carrying out its solemn duties of protecting the rights of citizens- safeguarding their freedoms
and instilling the values of justice and equality while entrenching the principle of the rule of law in Jordanian
society
