Recognizing the potential of Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) to contribute to
sustainable economic growth and create high quality jobs for Jordanians, the Hashemite
Kingdom has begun to proactively seek ways to position its growing IT and IT-enabled
services (ITES) industry as a leading regional provider of outsourcing services. Jordan’s
BPO Initiative enjoys substantial support from business and government leaders alike.
However, to date there has been no concerted effort to formulate a strategy to drive and
coordinate efforts to grow the industry and market Jordan as a leading investment location.
