The Ministry of Health Strategy (2013-2017), published in 2012, was developed to address the main strategic issues that were defined after the completion of a SWOT analysis for the Ministry and divided into nine core themes: primary health care, secondary & tertiary care, financial administration, management of human resources, infrastructure, organization and management, knowledge management and leadership. These themes will guide the execution of the national and institutional goals, with specific objectives for each theme.
