OCAs set the foundation for a capacity strengthening strategy. The results are used to prioritize actions and interventions to achieve an organization’s objectives. This OCA methodology has four objectives:
• Establish a baseline of an organization’s capacity in key technical areas • Promote organizational dialogue, learning, and standard setting • Inform capacity-strengthening plans to address organizational priorities • Serve as a reference point for follow-up assessments
