The purpose of this Park Ranger Field Manual is to provide the basic information a park ranger working for Petra Archeological Park needs to protect park resources, assist park management accomplish goals and implement policies, and ensure safe, enjoyable, and world class tourist visits. This field manual is a basic training guide for park management to train new park rangers and do in-service refresher training. It is also a reference for park rangers to use during the regular course of their duties.
