This Report describes the findings of the Preliminary Environemental and Social
Impact Assessment (PESIA) study for the proposed Zarqa Governorate Water
System Restructuring and Rehabilitation (ZGWSRR) Project. The PESIA was
focused on the main issues related to the Valued Environmental Components
(VECs) that were stated in the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the project, namely:

• Archaeology
• Socio-Economic Conditions
