The residential lighting pilot (Pilot) is based on proposals submitted by the three distribution companies, Jordanian Electric Power Company (JEPCO), Irbid District Electricity Company (IDECO) and Electricity Distribution Company (EDCO). The Pilot is intended to examine the delivery of an efficient lighting program to residential customers through the replacement of T8 fluorescent lamps (FTL) with linear light-emitting diode (LED) tubes .
