This booklet, published in 2013 presents the research evidence for healthy birth spacing and suggests what Jordan can do in the spheres of policy, education, and health services to promote the practice. Prepared by the Higher Population Council, the publication presents the research evidence for healthy birth spacing and the impact it can have on the survival of children. The booklet aims to raise awareness of the respective benefits for newborns, mothers, fathers, and communities, while discussing the trends identified in Jordan, and the prospective policy, education, and service delivery that should be a consideration in Jordan's future.
