The Jordanian National Action Plan for Children 2004-2013  

This report presents the Jordanian National Action plan for children from 2004-2013. The Plan of Action was developed by the United Nations children’s Fund (UNICEF) and based on the Convention on the Rights of the Child, and A World Fit for Children document. Consisting of seven components: health, protection, media, culture, sports, young people, as well as education, within which the plan aims to increase the percentage of basic education completion rates and decrease the percentage of school drop-outs. It also aims to provide a supportive system to assist needy families in keeping their children in schools, provide proper class and school environment that meets the needs of knowledge based economy, and develop the skills of the educators to be in line with the curricula.
