Water Audit Report

Findings presented in this report are the water audit results associated with WIT KAP baseline survey. Audit questions - as part of the survey tool - covered all indicators and parameters of the water audit scope of work. The vision is that the data collected will determine if and where excess water is being used/wasted, and ways in which its volume can be reduced. Results of the water audit will indicate the amount and variability of water demanded by each HH facility. In total, 2012 households were surveyed; 400 HHs in Ajloun, 400 HHs in Azraq, 401 HHs in Irbid, 407 HHs in Jerash and 404 HHs in Mafraq. The water audit aimed to ask water auditing questions that measure water amount consumed based on different variables. Those are; types of water outlets and number of times they are used by a single user at the household. It set and supported the project in the water calculations as well as identify gaps that were addressed by the project towards water conservation and efficiency use of water as well as the adoptions of water saving technologies and techniques.
