FMCG Market Penetration Strategy Exports to Africa  

With a main objective to increase the competitiveness of Jordan’s private sector, the USAID
Jordan Competitiveness Program (USAID JCP) was launched in 2013. Designed to advance
competitiveness in select knowledge economy sectors, ongoing regional conditions in the
Middle East and difficulties in exporting to markets such as Iraq and Syria meant that specific
Jordanian sectors like consumer goods required a practical export strategy to enter new
markets such as those in Africa.
