This document presents the integral importance of tourism to the economic development of Jordan and the Madaba governorate. The strategy aims to enhance the tourism economy in Madaba by capitalizing on the hospitality of its people, and on its cultural and natural assets as well as improving the quality and variety of tourism products, developing human resources, and building a strong partnership between local government agencies, including the municipality, with the business community and civil society.
