This manual aims to increase the young generation’s understanding of democratic principles, facilitate their identification and knowledge of issues that most affect them as well as support direct interaction of young girls and boys with public officials thus giving them a chance to go out of school boundaries. It is a guide that compliments the social studies curriculum and allows students to get involved in activities that lead them to a better understanding of their civic responsibilities
