The purpose of accreditation of Observer Organisations and Observers is to ensure that the entire electoral process is seen to be conducted in accordance with the law and international standards, and thereby increase the level of confidence in the electoral process among the population. Domestic and International Organisations which wish to be represented by individual Observers during the registration and electoral processes are invited to apply for accreditation. The Joint Electoral Management Body (JEMB), on a case-by-case basis, will accredit Domestic and International Observer Organisations and issue them with Accreditation Badges to enable them to observe the entire process.
