This study was conducted by Ibn Khaldun Center Research and Studies in May 2012. The study aimed to describe the social and cultural etiology of violence against women in Jordan and randomly sampled 1,854 married women from all 12 governorates. The aim of this research is to explore the problem of violence against women in Jordan and to identify personal, social, and cultural factors associated with the problem.
