Description
The Designing and Managing Evaluations Training is designed to:
1. Acquire a deeper understanding of:
• The role of evaluation in development effectiveness and adaptive management at the Mission and your organization (and ADS 201 requirements for evaluations)
• The importance of ethics in evaluation
2. Improve skills needed to understand and respond to high-quality, utilization-focused evaluation SOWs
3. Develop the capacity to design and manage an evaluation that will produce the information needed to answer evaluation questions and contribute to your learning agenda or CDCS learning agenda or CLA plan
4. Learn how to review and critique evaluation plans, questions, teams, and evaluation reports with an eye on improving them
5. Utilize evaluation findings to inform strategic and programmatic management decisions
