The recent introduction of electronic dashboards at the Ministry of Youth (MoY) is an instructive case of relatively simple solutions, utilizing in-house resources and familiar technology, going a long way in facilitating communication, improving data quality, encouraging cooperation, and sustainably laying the foundations for data-based decision-making and improved data practices.
The MoY IT department began developing online dashboards in March 2022 to enter and track the youth centers' semi-annual action plans, with the objective that field directors, from their offices, can track the plans and implementation progress of each center in the Kingdom.
