The goal of the Strengthening Family Planning Project (“Ta‟ziz Tanzim Al Usra” or “Ta‟ziz”
in short), managed and led by Abt Associates is to “expand the access, quality, and utilization
of family planning services.” Expected outcomes in direct support of increased use of family
planning (FP) are a) strengthened JAFPP management and governance systems; b) increased
demand for and access to private sector and non-governmental organization services; c)
improved quality of family planning / reproductive health services at the Jordanian
Association for Family Planning and Protection (JAFPP) and UNRWA clinics; d) expanded
method mix and product choice in the private and non-governmental sectors; and e) increased
JAFPP financial self-sufficiency
