This report presents an up to date analysis and asessment of gender disparities in Jordan to inform development assistance programming by USAID/Jordan through the Global Health Assistance project (GH Tech), particularly in the development of its 2013-2017 strategic plan. It includes both a literature review and fieldwork (from October to November 2011). 21 focus group discussions were held in Amman, Irbid, Tafileh, and Zarqa. The assessment includes a sector by sector analysis, sectoral and cross-cutting recommendations, a gender review of the mission’s results framework, and an illustrative implementation plan focusing on operational recommendations. It was published in March 2012.
