The goal of the Strengthening Family Planning Project (Ta’ziz Tanzim Al Usra, in short
Ta’ziz) is to expand the access, quality, and use of family planning services through
partnership with the private sector in Jordan. One of the project’s major activities is to
implement a community outreach program targeting low-income women. During home visits,
community health workers (CHWs) inform women about family planning and its benefits,
and refer interested women to obtain family planning (FP) services in both the public and
private sectors
