The labor force profile for Jabal Ajloun Development Area aims at identifying the labor
demand by the private sector firms in the Area, as well as, the labor supply in Ajloun
Governorate and neighboring governorates, in terms of qualifications, training, available
skills, previous experience, job preferences, etc. The results of the Labor Supply and Labor
Demand Analysis will reveal important information about the level of match and the gaps
between what is required by the private sector and the available workforce in the
surrounding area. The results are anticipated to guide the Jabal Ajloun Development
Company (JADA) and the DZC in the decisions that they should make in bridging the gap
between the demand and supply and thus increase the chances for Jordanians in Ajloun and
surrounding areas to obtain jobs in the Development Area.
