The goal is that producer groups with whomthey work in the Irbid and Karak regions will
achieve financial stability and independence within three years that they will be able to
operate through the profits of their production. The focus is to offer more intensive technical
assistance at the start of these interventions and to mentor the producers through to
success. Technical inputs and ongoing technical support will be the means to their gaining
independence. All suggested interventions are market driven and private sector players are
utilized as valued and normal links in the distribution chain.
